I must say, that Royal Escape cover is looking EPIC.

And I never knew THAT was how you got to start drawing for TG! It’s a very interesting story. The interview made me LOL. I love the fact that you’re not some stuck up self-absorbed hoity-toity jerk; I really get the sense that you’re just a nice person, which is nice to know. Makes me not feel like an idiot for being a rabid fan, because it seems like you are too. xD

Where did you get that information from?

The case is that the books are printed and ready roll, but await distribution. We’ve spoken to several other comic creators whose books are put out by smaller publishers, and they’ve all complained that their Christmas numbers have been delayed by Diamond.

Skidmarks #3 is solicited for Jan and #4 is due in Feb, with a follow on series from IDW in March, so we will catch up by having two issues out in January.

It seems that Diamond were up against it before Christmas and decided to ship only DC and Marvel titles, thus leaving all us small fry comics in boxes on the quayside.
Hurrah for Diamond’s relentless support of the independents.

So the comic is printed and ready to roll out, it’s just up to Diamond when they can be bothered to pull their corporate head out of their multinational backside and get on with it.
